Cookies

This is a translation. In case of any discrepancy the Italian version prevails.

Idra does not profile you and will not follow you elsewhere. We use no Google Analytics and there is no advertising pixel. We use one analytics tool, Vercel Analytics, which writes nothing to your device: no cookies, no browser storage. What remains is two technical cookies, without which the site does not work.

Which cookies we use

NameWhat it doesHow long
idra_localeRemembers which language we are serving your pages in, so that even an error page reaches you in the right one.1 year
sb-…-auth-tokenKeeps you signed in to your account. Created only if you sign in, and gone when you sign out.Session

Both are strictly necessary cookies: they run a service you asked for. They collect no habits, build no profile and go to nobody.

Why we do not ask for your consent

Consent is required when a site stores or reads information on your device (Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code). Our two technical cookies are exempt because they run a service you asked for, and the analytics writes nothing anywhere: no cookie, no identifier kept in your browser. So there is nothing to ask your permission for, and a pointless banner would just be an annoyance.

If we ever moved to a tool that saves something on your device, a real banner would appear — with rejecting as easy as accepting — and this page would change first.

Visit statistics

We count page views with Vercel Analytics, which runs on the same domain as the site. It collects the page visited, where you arrived from, and approximate country and device type. It gives you no permanent identifier and does not recognise you from one day to the next. We use it only to know which pages people read: the legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site works.

Vercel is the provider that hosts Idra and processes this data outside the European Economic Area too; the full picture is in the Privacy policy.

How to delete them

You can delete or block them in your browser settings, under cookies or site data. Note that deleting the session cookie signs you out of your account and you will need to sign in again.

Anything else

What we do with personal data is explained in the Privacy policy. Any questions: privacy@ciaoidra.com.
